Four Floating/Sinking Facts

Floating/Sinking Facts

Fact 1.

Sinking means a boat or a ship going down below a surface of water
.It can also mean that a non Floatable object moves  down to a lower
position in the water

Fact 2.
Floating can also mean move on or lying on a surface of a liquid
without sinking . But an easier way to say it is  balancing on water.

Fact 3.

Ships float at different heights depending on how heavily laden
they are and how dense the water is.

Fact 4. Objects like apples, wood, and sponges are less dense than water.
They will float. Many hollow things like empty bottles, balls, and
balloons will also float
