Women, Children and Animals in WWI Facts

Fact 1.  Over 16 million animals served in the First World War.


Fact 2.  Horses, donkeys, mules and camels carried food, water,
ammunition and medical supplies to men at the front, and dogs
and pigeons carried messages


Fact 3.  The youngest British soldier in WW1 was just 12 years old.

Fact 4.  the oldest soldier in ww1 was 67 years old
